As well as an impressive camera and great battery life, the Samsung Wave offers a sleek design, a superb screen and fast operation. There are also a large number of home screens featured in order to display the many applications available.
The actual handset is crammed with an array of top end features such as HD video recording, a 1Ghz Samsung-own Hummingbird processor, multi-touch support, the most recent Super AMOLED screen and an extremely slim chassis.
As with many of the previous Samsung handsets, this device also offers Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay, therefore those that have previously owned a Samsung phone won’t have any problems getting used to using the device.
The phone is less than 11mm thick in size making it one of the slimmest phones on the market and the metallic build quality is noticeable the second you get the handset out of the box.
The front of the phone houses the call, terminate and menu keys, it therefore offers a contemporary and minimal style. The volume controls are situated on the left hand side of the handset and the camera shutter keys can be found on the right hand side of the phone. A 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the top of the phone; this sits next to a microUSB port complete with a sliding cover.
The SuperAMOLED screen offers a high-resolution display of a 400 by 800 WVGA screen with impressive contrast and amazing viewing angles.
The Samsung Wave is certainly a great looking handset that also allows users with access to a huge amount of information; this is made possible due to the numerous featured widgets and also the wide screen Internet display page.
